VIDYA JYOTI, a non-governmental organization from the United Kingdom visited the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports to have talks relating to donation of water pumps and the distribution of nutritional products to rural areas in Cambodia.
The founder, Dr. Pamela Kaushal has been in Cambodia over the years and have been donating and installing hand water pumps in the district of Lumphat in province of Ratanakiri and presently looking at the neighboring districts in the same province.



According to Dr. Kaushal, having access to clean water for the underprivileged is her first priority since she established in Cambodia her operations in 2024.
Vidya Jyoti is a UK registered charity, founded in 2019 by Dr. Pamela Kaushal also support disability programs in UK for both the young and elderly. For their overseas missions, Vidya Jyoti has provided clean water pumps, education, healthcare services to other parts of the world such as Sierra Leone, Ghana, Nigeria and looking into other provinces in Cambodia as well. Over the years, the organization also donates computers to schools in Ghana and Sierra Leone including Cambodia.
Vidya Jyoti is now teaming up with the Sri Sathya Sai Annapoorna Trust and trying to implement a nutrition project in Cambodia with the Ministry of Education to provide health supplements to children under six years old.
Dr. Kaushal and her team together with from Annapoorna Trust are planning and exploring how to coordinate these activities with the relevant organizations on the commune and district level with the Ministry of Education
